Description Brion Vibber 2012-06-22 22:38:43 UTC
Testing on Windows 8 Release Preview running in VirtualBox.

Click to set caret position and click-and-drag to select text don't seem to work reliably in IE 10. Tested both in desktop and Metro mode.

Mouse activity can be seen in mouseover and mousedown text decoration/coloring on links, but ... most of the time the caret doesn't move / selection doesn't change.

Occasionally one gets through, it's not clear how/why.

Note that selection with arrow keys+shift works fine.

This isn't reproducible, but a lot has changed since this bug was reported. The only problem I've noticed is the location of the context menu. I'll open a new bug for that.
