Screenshot of iPad simulator

iOS 5.1 simulator on Mac OS X. Screenshot attached.

iOS's selection handles overlap the arrow button we add, so it can't be clicked on.

Moving to "Mobile" component.

Something very similar happens on my Android phone. However, if I blur the editor and refocus it, the first cursor I get upon focusing doesn't have a selection handle, but if I then move the cursor, a selection handle appears.

Regarding Android, I've raised a similar issue at Bug 51270.
Comment 4 James Forrester 2014-05-05 21:08:14 UTC
The mobile version of VisualEditor doesn't do text over-lays to avoid issues like this bug. Closing as INVALID now that work there is progressing.
