Description Yuvi Panda 2012-06-23 23:03:35 UTC
Mobile transformation makes the content suck on tablets. We already serve the desktop version to people on tablets - the app should do the same.

MaxSem has already added the 'notransform' param to the API to make this possible.

I support this -- larger-screen tablets should feel nicer with the desktop layout.

(Or alternately, multicolumn layout like we're using on Windows 8, but that only really "fits" with the Microsoft Metro style.)
Comment 2 Yuvi Panda 2012-07-03 17:36:56 UTC
Hmm, for this we need to inject MediaWiki:common.css and assorted other per-wiki css scripts into the app - and load mobile specific styles only on demand.

Were focusing on handsets right now so i'm resolving this as wont fix.
