When searching for https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Especial:Pesquisar&limit=2000&offset=0&redirs=0&profile=all&search=switch+default&uselang=en I get the following inconsistency on search results: * Results 1 - 501 of 1,045 for switch default ** Why not exactly 500? And why not all 1043? * View (previous 2,000 | next 2,000) (20 | 50 | 100 | 250 | 500) ** There is no link on "previous 2,000 | next 2,000" as it should * A CTRL+F for "words)" revels there are 500 items in the page ** (not 501 and certainly not all 1043, so there should be links for "next" page)
Hmm.... There's no paging links on previous/next because there *are* no previous/next pages, you've asked for 2000 of less than 2000 results. However it does claim it's only giving you 500 or so; that may be a limitation that's applied separately from the requested result size...

Well, if I reduce the limit to e.g. 1000 (which is < 1045) the links are not shown either: https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Especial:Pesquisar&limit=1000&offset=0&redirs=0&profile=all&search=switch+default&uselang=en
This is a core bug with Special:Search, not an issue in lsearchd (or MWSearch). I've seen the problem with Cirrus as well :)
