Description Jasper Deng 2012-07-09 21:01:46 UTC
I found that neither the global block nor the blacklisting of this title prevented a globally-blocked proxy from creating http://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=VisualEditor:Modern_Apizza&action=edit&redlink=1.

This will naturally resolve itself when we lift the namespace-specific restrictions on editing the Wikitext and can use the editing API instead of going through the back door, as we do now.

This is related to bug 37844 - in that these will both be resolved in the same way.
Comment 2 James Forrester 2012-09-10 18:42:43 UTC
De-prioritising (as will be fixed when we properly deploy anyway).
Comment 3 James Forrester 2012-11-29 19:50:18 UTC
Fixed in Gerrit change #31889
Comment 4 James Forrester 2012-11-30 20:16:44 UTC
Assigning this to a release milestone so it's clear when at the latest to expect it to have been fixed; it may have been fixed beforehand.
