Description Brion Vibber 2012-07-12 19:35:28 UTC
Got a request at Wikimania from a guy with a rarer MIPS-based Android device; apparently the Wikipedia app is not getting listed as compatible in Google Play on his device though it should theoretically work.

We'll want to double-check whether it's due to the MIPS processor or something else like ldpi display, where we know we work but we don't have a lot of test devices...
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2012-07-13 17:30:31 UTC
Looks like we do specify all the screen sizes... from what I can tell Google Play should only be filtering by ABI if the app contains native libraries, which we don't...
Comment 2 Yuvi Panda 2012-07-22 07:02:28 UTC
We do specify smallScreens=true in Android Manifest...
Comment 3 Yuvi Panda 2012-10-12 20:19:49 UTC
Closing as invalid - we've no binary components so MIPS shouldn't be a problem.
