When I visit the URL https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:API-Spielwiese#action=parse&format=json&text=%5B%5Ben%3Aasdf%5D%5D&prop=languageshtml the action=parse is selected correctly, text=[[en:asdf]] is prefilled correctly, too.

But in the prop list languageshtml is not selected, instead two JS errors occur, both saying "value is undefined".
