Description Jasper Deng 2012-07-24 05:09:30 UTC
The following abuse log entries throw errors:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14073
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14071
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14075
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14077
This is not a problem with the entire extension, as adjacent abuse log entries like http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14078 work fine.
Comment 1 matanya 2012-07-24 06:23:01 UTC
This looks to me mediewiki-only related. I tried to reproduce on en.wiki and on meta, without luck.
Comment 2 Alex Monk 2012-07-24 14:28:11 UTC
It's https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseFilter/12 in case that matters. Unfortunately it's a private filter.
Comment 3 Jasper Deng 2012-07-24 16:17:22 UTC
The problem evidently is not unique to that filter as
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14091 also throws the exception.
Comment 4 Sam Reed (reedy) 2012-07-24 16:24:18 UTC
I fixed this earlier (or should have!) https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/16505/
Comment 5 Alex Monk 2012-07-24 16:34:32 UTC
This fix reveals another problem: Look at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14099

It has no information about the abusive action. It should look like https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/14100
Comment 6 Jasper Deng 2012-07-24 16:35:29 UTC
I smell a bad db row.
Comment 7 Andrew Garrett 2012-07-24 20:38:01 UTC
Resolved. There was a bug causing two entries to be entered for every event: one with a blank afl_var_dump row and another which was not corrupt.

We identified and fixed the bug, and cleaned up the database.
