Description Amir E. Aharoni 2012-07-27 13:22:21 UTC
In the Wikimedia Highlights reports, which are translatable on Meta, dollar sums are frequently cited. For example:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Highlights,_June_2012#Financials

While translating that sections, the translator gets a message that numbered parameters are not used, even though these are not parameters.

When the message is saved, it becomes FUZZY, because the software doesn't see the "parameters", even though they aren't actually needed.

This is especially important for languages in which it is not natural to use the dollar sign the same way as it is used in English.
