Description Platonides 2012-07-28 14:30:12 UTC
deployment-bastion has some corrupted files. In addition, last night fun.

Ideally it would be automated by a puppet class, but if there's some manual action required, such as dooing ln -s /data/project/apache/ /usr/local/apache before installing wikimedia-task-appserver, it should be properly documented.

Bug 38776 should be fixed before.

I had bug 38747 about -bastion not being accessible which was fixed but I forgot meanwhile the instance is corrupted. We should use -dbdumps for now.

On a side note, wikimedia-task-appserver should be installed using a puppet class that would setup the symbolic links to /data/project :-)

Recreating deployment-bastion using a Precise image and s1.small (1CPU, 1GB RAM, 80G storage)

The instant deny ssh access, see blocking bug 38846.

I have killed the instance again and recreating it.
Comment 5 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-08-27 15:15:31 UTC
The issue we had with -bastion got fixed. We will then be able to migrate out of -dbdump.
