RFC ### auto-linked urls use http:// links. The relevant area on the IETF website these link to supports https. We should be using protocol relative urls for these.

We already are...

In fact, you did this back in November:
08a31123 (Daniel Friesen 2011-11-11 03:20:45 +0000 2669) 'rfcurl'    => '//tools.ietf.org/html/rfc$1', # do not translate or duplicate

We still have RFC auto links ? Wow, that's a narrow usegroup.
Comment 4 Daniel Friesen 2012-07-30 14:05:51 UTC
Ahhh... *facepalm*

I got tripped up by the fact that the RFC link I pasted in had the lock icon while the RFC auto link next to it used the external link icon. I thought I was sent to http:// and then redirected to https:// by HTTPS-Everywhere (which btw, for some reason isn't working on MW.org anymore)
