In the undo/restore form, it would be nice to preview the full item as it would be if the user clicked save, in addition to the diff. 

It's unclear though where the summary/submit form should be placed then. Above the preview, or below? Below would be the logical choice and consistent with the way things are done for wikitext, but since items may be quite large, this could also become very inconvenient.

One option would be also to use a "preview" button or link. Needs to be considered in total, in Wikitext the text can actually be changed, whereas this is not true for items. If we wanted to make this for items, the new item JS class would be required -- but changing something to be restored might be a very bad idea in the first place.
