installing extension brings `Lock wait timeout.`

I assume this is talking about ExtensionDistributor? Otherwise, I have no idea what "ED broken" was supposed to mean as a bug summary.

What are you trying to do? What happens when you try to do it? Are there particular URLs giving you errors. Just saying something is broken isn't very helpful.
