Description europamoon100 2012-08-10 19:45:52 UTC
I was typing something onto the TALK section for an article.
Somehow, I hit some key by accident, and then everything that I had typed DISAPPEARED. I cannot find it anywhere, either.

THIS SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN !
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE IN A USER-UNFRIENDLY COMPUTER PROGRAM.

NO PROGRAM SHOULD EVER JUST ERASE TEXT THAT WE HAVE TYPED, AND MAKE IT DISAPPEAR FOREVER. THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE SOME BUFFER, SOME BACK-UP FILE, WHERE THAT TEXT CAN BE FOUND.

ALSO, I NEVER GOT A MESSAGE THAT SAID, "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO ERASE THIS?"

FOR EVERY "PLAN A", THERE SHOULD BE A "PLAN B", AND PLAN B SHOULD BE EASY TO USE.

BLAME IT ON WINDOWS 7 OR WHATEVER. IN ANY CASE, YOUR SOFTWARE SHOULD OVERCOME THE FOIBLES OF WINDOWS 7. MAKE YOUR SYSTEM EASY AND RELIABLE FOR HUMAN BEINGS TO USE.

Blame your browser, works for me in Chrome.

Why should we work around every single individual browser flaw?
