Pushed to Gerrit (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/19450/) & prototype

Thanks, Matthias! I did a quick iOS test on prototype with an iPhone.

Here are some of my test results:

* I cannot see the feedback form on the Golden-crowned Sparrow page

* I can see the talk page link and the feedback page

* as a reader, I can mark posts as helpful/unhelpful, but not flag them as abuse

* as a monitor, I can mark posts as helpful/unhelpful, flag them as abuse, as well as hide/unhide them

* the 'More filters' drop-down menu doesn't always seem to work

* if I try to access the Golden-crowned Sparrow article page on en.wiki or test.wiki, the mobile interface is forced on me, by adding 'm.' after 'http://en.' or 'http://test.' - this doesn't let me access the feedback form

* if I try to access the Golden-crowned Sparrow *feedback* page on en.wiki or test.wiki, the mobile interface is forced on me as well, by adding 'm.' after 'http://en.' or 'http://test.' - however, I can see the feedback page (including the details permalink page), though all its formatting is removed. I cannot access the central feedback page link

I did not get a chance to test on iPad yet, but can try this tomorrow. My understanding is that the two platforms are very similar, though, so what works in one is likely to work on the other.

Hope this helps.

I've fixed the issue where readers were not able to mark posts as helpful/unhelpful.
The rest seems to work fine for me though - any chance the feedback form not showing up may have been a cache issue?

The mobile interface being forced upon us is a bigger problem though. I think we should be able to get an exception for the feedback page. The article pages however, how will we go about this?
Food for discussion with mobile team :)

iPad is mow supported by enwiki - iPhone will need some more changes due to mobile layout & redirect.
Comment 5 Andre Klapper 2014-02-28 16:35:56 UTC
[Lowering priority to reflect reality, as AFTv5 is not very actively being worked on anymore.]
Comment 6 Oliver Keyes 2014-02-28 19:00:31 UTC
Well, no, it's actively not being developed whatsoever, nor deployed on any of our servers. Unless volunteer devs want to work on it that's basically a WONTFIX ;p.
