Split from bug 39294 comment 4. Please advertise it on the ka wikis so that people test it (bug 39294 comment 3) and add here a link to consensus.
From bug 39294 comment 9 and the URL, it seems there's consensus (no more comments in a few days).
There is concensus for enabling, but $wmgNarayamEnabledByDefault has to be true when enabled.
Taking this bug. Gerrit change #23085.
Merged by Catrope.
I don't understand, is this actually working? To enable the extension properly, the method has not to be in beta, I don't remember if this was done.

It's not marked as beta, it works on other wikis with Narayam enabled. The problem seems to be that there is still a local JS tool: https://ka.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E1%83%9B%E1%83%94%E1%83%93%E1%83%98%E1%83%90%E1%83%95%E1%83%98%E1%83%99%E1%83%98:ConvertInput.js
Hmm, no, that shouldn't stop Narayam from working I guess. Looking at https://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/highlight.php?file=InitialiseSettings.php it doesn't seem to be enabled at all. REOPENing.
Looking at http://wikitech.wikimedia.org/view/Server_admin_log it seems that the copy of the config in production has not been updated since this was merged.
It seems to work now. You've the Narayam bar at top right.
(In reply to comment #9) > It seems to work now. You've the Narayam bar at top right. No, that is the local JS I mentioned above. The Narayam bar is located next to the user name.
It's in the master branch in gerrit but missing from the copy at http://noc.wikimedia.org/conf . Whether or not it's actually deployed right now it still needs to be looked at on fenari.
Delete or disable this. https://ka.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E1%83%9B%E1%83%94%E1%83%93%E1%83%98%E1%83%90%E1%83%95%E1%83%98%E1%83%99%E1%83%98:ConvertInput.js This is creating conflict with Narayam.
It's been disabled.
