The i18n system in the app does not support MW i18n conventions such as {{{GENDER}}} and {{{PLURAL}}}, etc.

From discussion this morning, it sounds like we should strip out those tokens so they are not displayed.

We can either update the localisation library
OR
Communicate to translation community that we do not support these strings
Strip these strings from app

There don't appear to be any usages of {{GENDER}} or {{PLURAL}} in the messages currently; do we actually have further problems?

I guess someone wanted to use them and realised they couldn't...
