A suggestion we received some time ago but I didn't get around to implementing is to have the search pane open when you start typing in the app, similar to how you can search for apps on the Windows 8 Start screen.

Looks like we can do a show request on the search pane, so this shouldn't be too hard to do.

Even better, there's a property "showOnKeybaordInput" which can just be turned on. Nice!
