View of login page while browsing via en.m.wikipedia.org

Currently, you can visit the login page (Special:UserLogin) via en.m.wiki... and MobileFrontend will re-skin the page. However, submitting credentials simply reloads the page.

I understand that there are some blockers around doing mobile logins and registration, but we should probably just serve the desktop view of that page until mobile fully supports login/signup.

Interestingly if you put your username and password in and click the login button you do actually login you just don't get redirected... weird.

Will be fixed with

Comment 4 Jon 2012-10-25 20:25:15 UTC
This is fixed in beta but not non-beta
Comment 5 Jon 2012-11-01 20:18:29 UTC
In non-beta an error message appears on logging in "There was an unexpected error logging in. Please try again. If the problem persists, it may be because you have cookies disabled, and you should check that they are enabled in your browser settings"
Comment 6 Jon 2012-12-19 18:38:29 UTC
Setting to low since it works in beta and will likely fix itself when functionality migrates.
Comment 7 Steven Walling 2012-12-19 18:45:02 UTC
Actually I think we can resolve to fixed, even if it's in beta awaiting wider deployment.
