Description Yaron Koren 2012-10-08 17:23:29 UTC
I set my wiki to use SMWSQLStore3, added the necessary tables, and then clicked the "Start updating data" button. It launched a lot of jobs, and took hours to complete, but then at the end of it all the new DB tables were still empty.

Confirmed against git [1].

Testing was done on a MediaWiki 1.21alpha (85af608).

PS: Hopefully unrelated but the Job queue was re-factored in MW 1.21 [2].

Working for me.

In my local wiki I deleted all of Store3, re-installed it using SMWAdmin and pressed the "Start updating data" button. Then I ran the refresh script which failed due to some bugs in the markers but did parse about 50 pages before that and thus has about 50 entries in the _MDAT table and about 300 entries in wikipage table.

Also, the count of _MDAT was right after parsing the pages.

Yaron,James can you confirm this again? This is a major blocker if its still a bug.
Comment 4 MWJames 2012-11-07 05:08:31 UTC
I know, I'm not sure how to tackle this because on MW 1.21 I do have problems to get the JobQueue working with the refeshJob but since its MW 1.21 and not yet released I should not block the SMW 1.8 release and unless Yaron has other insights on work/doesn't work.
Comment 5 MWJames 2013-02-23 18:31:46 UTC
If this error still persists, please feel free to open it again until then this is rendered solved with the current SMW 1.9 alpha.
