Um... As far as I know, there isn't any way to safely transfer Wikidata tokens to Wikipedia javascript, and cross-document messaging isn't supported by <IE7, so an iframe wouldn't work... Is there going to be some system for sending the Wikipedia domain a request and having it edit the Wikidata item or something?

Marius has been working on some of this. I asked him to update this bug with the current status to keep you updated.

It is already working but still needs a lot of polishing and minor fixes. I hope to find the time to actually do this soon.
