Description jeblad 2012-10-15 19:38:41 UTC
There should be a special page to identify broken sitelinks on the client. These will typically be created after a page that is a valid target for a sitelink is moved to a new location, without the existing sitelink being updated. This will then create a broken sitelink that points to a non-existing page, if the page is moved without creating a redirect, or to a redirect if that is created during the move. Both forms are broken according to how we plan to use the sitelinks.

The page could be made as a SpecialCachedPage as creating the list of broken sitelinks could be an expensive operation.
