It is possible to create a special page that list the least probable items according to the common tag cloud generated by properties (that is Tanimoto similarity score). The least probable items would then be items where erroneous properties are used and they could then be fixed somehow. Sometimes properties will be used in unlikely places and it should be some way to say that "this property is used properly".
The special page will use a property as accessor, aka [[Special:UnlikelyItems/SomeProperty]], and list the unlikely items in ascending order with likelihood, label and description.
This kind of page is a maintenance page that aids in cleaning up existing items.
Adding an unlikely item should lead to a tag being added to the recent changes. The tag will probably be the most visible way to show this to the other users, and those other users is the one to take action to fix the edit.
Items in this context could be any entry from a small collection of values that is similar to another entry from another collection. This is comparable to collaborative item-based recommendations as used in many social recommendation sites. The recommended "items" is the actual values and the "users" recommending the items are the properties. Note that the recommendations are over several "users", that is properties, and that the a similarity score between the "items" can be calculated off-line. See for example "Programming Collective Intelligence" from O'Reilly.
Nice idea but closing now to unclutter the bug tracker. Not useful to keep around atm.
