Description Nicolas Raoul 2012-10-17 01:31:10 UTC
Steps:
1) Go to http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor:Test
2) Select a word or character
3) Press CTRL-X or select "Cut" in the context menu
4) Text is copied, but not removed

It guess many Wikimedia editors use cut-paste to reorder information, so it seems like a rather important feature to have.
Comment 1 Christian Williams 2012-10-17 05:16:45 UTC
Yeah, it definitely is. I'll look into what happened with our cut support.
Comment 2 Christian Williams 2012-10-17 06:35:00 UTC
I found what's happening. This is now fixed but not yet released.
