CCing Brion.
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2012-10-24 19:32:35 UTC
srcset is still new in the draft spec and probably hasn't made its way to the validator yet.
Comment 3 Alex Monk 2012-10-24 19:39:25 UTC
Is this causing any problems with browsers which aren't aware of srcset? If not I suggest WONTFIX.
Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2012-10-24 21:52:11 UTC
Here's the live draft spec, which does include srcset:
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/embedded-content-1.html#the-img-element
