Don't know if it is harmless or not.
Comment 1 Peter Gehres 2012-11-01 17:21:32 UTC
We originally thought it was harmless but a few reports have come in that it breaks gadgets. If we had known we would have pushed the bugfix immediately, but instead it will be going out today, November 1 between 18:00 and 20:00 UTC.

Deploy window has changed; we're now looking at Nov1 2200 to 2400 UTC.

Whether it breaks other code or not something else. It harms you because the requests will never be made and no data will be recorded. The browser gives an error not a warning.
Comment 4 Krinkle 2012-11-01 22:16:15 UTC
Fix has been merged.
