Description Strainu 2012-11-05 07:59:25 UTC
Hi,

We would like to configure a new import source for ro.wikibooks, so we can import some articles from ro.wp. The new line should be:

'rowikibooks' => array( 'w', 's', 'commons' )

Relevant discussion: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Steward_requests/Permissions#User:Strainu.40ro.wikibooks

Gerrit change I43b764f1.

Just some thoughts I have:
1) The link you provided wasn't really much of consensus, but this change will not affect how the community will function, so I am proceeding to submit this change.
2) That "discussion" only stated to add rowiki as an import source, which is a wonder why rowikisource and commonswiki needs to be added, but I am adding them nonetheless.
Comment 2 Strainu 2012-11-05 08:12:00 UTC
Thanks Hydra. I must admit I have copy-pasted the line without much thought (and probably so has billinghurst). Commons can be removed without any problem, as ro.b does not have an EDP AFAIK.

However, wikisource does have the occasional original contribution that would be better off at wikibooks.

Sure, removed Commons. The change is still Gerrit change I43b764f1.
