Ever since the update on the mobile app I have been unable to view a page from Wikipedia in the landscape format. It is very disheartening to know that I cannot turn my phone sideways to view the pages any longer. I would appreciate you fixing this problem as it was a real plus to be able to view the pages either way. Thank you. Source: WikipediaMobile/1.2 Referring page: Dear Wikipedia, I have just updated your ipad app to the 3.2.1 version but when i rotate my iPad in the landscape mode, the app does not turn and remain in the portrait mode and i cannot use it. Is it normal? Is there any reason why the iPad app has the display fixed now and the keyboard is also fixed but not the same way, it is as a result of the recent update and it is poorer for it.
I can confirm this on my iPad 3... thought it was just iPhone/iPod Touch but iPad is affected as well and this is not good. :( I think there's a Cordova bug which can be fixed by upgrading our libraries and plugins, I'll try that out this week.
Confirmed that updating to Cordova 2.2 resolves this issue in simulator. Still working on upgrading the plugins to match.
Pull request on github for master: https://github.com/wikimedia/WikipediaMobile/pull/314 This appears to work now; I initially had some trouble with the updated Facebook plugin but appear to have resolved it.
