From bug 35144 comment 20, Gerrit change #12345 should be autolinked, but isn't. The regular expression should treat all whitespace equal.
I think this bug usually strikes most for wiki-links, which tend to be very long. Sometimes, for them, putting them on their own line or adding a colon at the beginning or leaving underscores instead of spaces can help.
I'm not sure if wrapped wikilinks should be recognized as they aren't by MediaWiki neither. (BTW, what I deeply miss in Bugzilla is a preview function - it would be *very* nice if you could check a comment for autolinkification and layout in general *before* you submit it.)
Patches welcome (in case this link works): https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gitweb?p=wikimedia/bugzilla/modifications.git;a=blob;f=bugzilla-4.0/extensions/Wikimedia/Extension.pm (In reply to comment #2) As you are only expected to enter plain text and as you have no influence on its formatting, I don't see how a preview makes any sense. The formatting should either be fixed or disabled. Autolinkification in upstream code only supports "bug 123456" stuff & there are no plans to provide a preview function.
