Description Trijnstel 2012-11-08 20:35:21 UTC
When using Mozilla Firefox (16.0.2) I'm unable to click on the "unlock further protect options" when I want to move-protect a page. It only happens on the Dutch Wikipedia so far I think and I have no problems with IE. See for example here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hoofdpagina&action=unprotect.

Hi Trijnstel,
is this still a problem with Firefox 17.0.1?

Yes. While I use Firefox 18.0 now, the problem is still there.

Can you please try to disable all gadgets and/ or list the ones you use?

I prefer not to disable them, but you should know that it works fine in IE.

I have lots of gadgets installed, but could this be the cause maybe?

* What happens exactly when you click the checkbox?
* Does the tick symbol not appear? Or does it appear but the options below stay locked?
* Try using Chrome (just once, to see if it works)
* Try disabling all gadgets you have enabled, and try again. Feel free to re-enable your favourite gadgets directly afterwards. But this helps narrow down where the problem is coming from.
Comment 6 Krinkle 2013-01-14 22:46:20 UTC
It works for me in IE9, Chrome 23, Chrome 24 and Firefox 18. I have the default settings on nl.wikipedia and have protect/sysop rights.
Comment 7 Krinkle 2013-01-14 22:48:28 UTC
I can reproduce the issue in Chrome and Firefox when I enable "Zeusmode" gadget.

It does appear, but the options below stay locked (=grey).

Do you mind if I won't do that? :P I'm afraid I forget which ones I installed.
