Description MA 2012-11-09 15:34:51 UTC
* Browser: Firefox 16.0.2
* On-wiki report at the URL field.

Hi. I'm suffering from several errors (logged in the error console) which causes as follows:

* The editting toolbar has dissapeared.
* I can't edit items at Wikidata.
* No javascript loads at User:xxx/common.js

I though it was the skin I was using, later the server. I changed all and nothing worked. I've reset the preferences to default and I still get the same errors.

I've also reloaded the pages as suggested by some people, however it did not solved the problem.

Best regards.

Can you please try again with a “clean” Firefox profile (no plugin, no extension…).

Also, do you use an antivirus program or a firewall? If so, does it change anything if you disable them?

Best regards

Using FF with all extensions and components disabled I could edit Wikidata. Do you think it's a Firefox issue or a plugin/extension issue?

Best regards.

Most likely a plugin / extension.

Please start with all of them disabled, and enable them one by one, to see which one causes the issue. I wouldn't be surprised a misconfigured extension like Adblock Plus or NoScript is the cause of the issue. Or maybe a notoriously buggy plugin like Skype.

Best regards,

Today it is working fine, with Firefox in full mode. The only plugin I had outdated was Adobe FlashPlayer. I'll see if as the day passes I have the same issues again. Best regards.

I think the only way to fix this is to enable plugins one by one to find out the faulty one.

=> Closing this report as INVALID as this is not a problem that could be fixed by changing some code that Wikimedia has control over.
