Description snaevar 2012-11-09 18:48:02 UTC
The number of active users on Special:Statistics is way off.
On the 31st of October the active users where 320, but Special:Statistics claimed that they where 2.
And today, the number of active users are 631 but Special:Statistics claim that they are 388.
Comment 1 Daniel Kinzler 2012-11-11 21:32:12 UTC
Perhaps Special:Statistics has a different idea of "active" than you do. I don't know how it counts, but I could imagine that it requires activity over a week or so.

No, that is not the case. The number comes from counting the users on Special:ActiveUsers.

Anyway, this bug just got worse. Now Special:Statistics shows that the active users are -1. Added a screenshot and upped the importance to normal.

It currently seems to be correct. Please reopen or file a new bug if this happens again.
