Description MZMcBride 2012-11-10 01:24:00 UTC
I wonder if it makes sense to rename Special:Preferences to Special:Settings and change "My preferences" to "My settings".

It seems like Web sites commonly use "settings" (e.g., Facebook, Google, Twitter) while desktop applications use "preferences" (maybe that's a Mac thing...).
Comment 1 MZMcBride 2012-12-04 17:18:31 UTC
Just noting that <http://en.m.wikipedia.org/> uses "Settings" instead of "Preferences" or "Options" in its interface currently.

-easy: until there's consensus and clear path/definition of what to do (the name is not only on the special page itself).
