Description Martin C. Doege 2012-11-11 16:39:59 UTC
On TimedText namespace pages, e.g. on Commons, the getting diffs from the history page does not work. The only way to get a diff right now is by clicking on "undo". This makes it harder to catch vandalism or understand other multi-revision changes to SRT files.

Added example URL.
Comment 2 Martin C. Doege 2012-11-18 11:27:48 UTC
Related problem: One cannot edit an old subtitle revision. Clicking "edit" always edits the latest version.

E.g., I'm trying to revert http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/TimedText:President_Obama_on_Death_of_Osama_bin_Laden.ogv.en.srt back to English, but since the vandal has saved twice, there's no straightforward way to do it. I'll have to copy the SRT markup from the rendered page back into the edit box!
