Description Asaf Bartov 2012-11-13 18:58:22 UTC
We'd like a new public but closed-membership mailing list to support the Flow Funding Pilot project[1]. It will be used for discussions about the Flow Funding Pilot program, by Flow Funders. The archives are to be public. It will be run by the project organizer, Thomas Souza-Buckup[2], with me as a backup administrator.

Its name should be 'flowfunding'.

Thanks!

Hi Asaf. I'm more than happy to create this list, but in my opinion following discussions on a mailing list without being subscribed to it is actually, at least in my experience, not too easy if you have to constantly check list archives (rather than have emails delivered to you). Just to throw this out there as a suggestion, perhaps we create the list as a public list, open subscription but set to hold all posts from new members - I think we might be able to tweak a setting to autoreject such messages from moderated members. Then Thomas and yourself as list admins can subscribe the users that are Flow Funders or simply 'unmoderate' them.

What are your thoughts?

Yes, that sounds good to me!

Great, sorry for the delay in responding, I've created the list and have made the settings tweaks as mentioned above, an email is coming your way with the list admin password.
