Except in regards to each other, InterWikimedia prefixes on the Simple English Wikipedia and the Simple English Wiktionary need to point to the English (en.) subdomains where they exist. The new prefixes wikivoyage: and voy: need to also point to en.wikivoyage.org. They currently target the simple. subdomain, which of course will lead clickers to the Incubator.
See, of course [https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Interwiki Special:Interwiki] for comparison with books, quote, wikiversity, etc.
Update: Sorry, it seems the convention we currently follow is actually to have the shorthand (voy:) target the simple. subdomain, but the long-form (wikivoyage:) target the en. subdomain. Cf. q: and wikiquote: in the https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Interwiki
So, to recount the real issue: The wikivoyage: prefix supposedly targets //en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/$1 But it doesn't -- sometimes it does for the initial view, but then purging or null-editing the page will reveal the target changes to a local link -- //simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:$1 My apologies for all the corrections.
Fixed now.
