Description Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-11-16 22:21:41 UTC
The awesome Brion Vibber wrote a nice little interface to bugzilla dedicated to mobile interfaces. It is available in his GitHub umbrella:

https://github.com/brion/BugTender

The interface uses json-rpc API to get the data from bugzilla.

The BugTender requires Bugzilla 4.2 to be able to get Product/Components from Bugzilla. Hence deploying BugTender is blocked till we have upgraded Bugzilla bug 33158.

I guess we need to get Brion to do some more work now ;)
Comment 3 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-12-04 22:14:16 UTC
I have sent a few pull requests on https://github.com/brion/BugTender that catch minor tricks, add README and jshint files. lint javascript files.

Some third party libraries need an update.

And we want to review the whole code ;-]

As for the deployment, we could install the soft in a labs instance and play with it till it is production grade. Would be nice a side project for a bunch of us.

Brion: Any news?
Or any reasons that would require Bugzilla 4.4 now? :D

We are migrating to Phabricator so I guess there is no point in keeping this feature request around. At least I don't think it is worth the effort since we are migrating.
