From http://article.gmane.org/gmane.org.wikimedia.mediawiki/40573: If you look at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Voile-deplacement-contre-le-vent.svg you will see that the red label (the most important) is echoed on my browser "V sin sin α β" which is meaningless, but if you look at the file which has been uploaded at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3c/Voile-deplacement-contre-le-vent.svg is it correct and echoed "V. sin α . sin β" . Inkscape created the svg file. [Reported here on their behalf]

Using rsvg-convert -f svg reproduces the "sin sin" bug (as well as -f pdf and -f png).
Was resolved in the recent librsvg upgrade. Not that you'd know (if you're in the US) because of the difficulty purging thumbnails these days. But it is displaying correctly for me (Europe) at least [1]. (Oh, and FTR this was probably a dupe of bug 17174, which is why I knew it had been fixed.)
Ok, the bug is solved. Thanks
