When the user disables Input Tools, the IME menu should disappear to preview the change. This can be reverted if the user clicks "Cancel" or confirmed when the user clicks "Apply changes".
Disabling is now immediate, but enabling is not done after a page reload or visiting another page. Steps to reproduce for Firefox 19.0.2 in OSX 10.8.2: 1. Make sure a user is logged and visits https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Main_Page 2. Make the search field active. Observed: an IME icon appears attached to the search field. 3. Open ULS by clicking the icon 4. Open input setting by clicking at the bottom of the ULS window 5. Click "Disable input methods" 6. Click "Save settings" Observed: ULS screens close. 7. Make the search field active. Observed: IME icon is no longer there. 8. Open ULS by clicking the icon 9. Open input setting by clicking at the bottom of the ULS window 10. Click "Disable input methods" 11. Click "Save settings" Observed: ULS screens close. 12. Make the search field active. Observed: IME icon is no longer there. Expected: IME icon is there. 13. Reload the page. 14. Make the search field active. Observed: IME icon is there. Step 12 needs to display expected behavior for this issue to be resolved.
