wikibugs should shut up after it posts too many messages in too little time), so the channel is not flooded when somebody decides to do batch changes and forgets to silence it. Personally I'd vote for no more than 5 messages per 60 seconds.
I am a completist and prefer uninterrupted information flow from the wikibugs bot so I think this is a bad change that would make the channel worse. -1 to this unless: * it can be smart about ensuring it only catches batch changes by a single person, and lets other simultaneous notifications from other changes through * it notifies the channel it's in to say that it is deliberately blocking some notifications, and why
This certainly amused me, but I can't say I'd want the information to just get dropped - perhaps if it just grouped batch changes or something that would help, though? I'unno.
We want all notifications from wikibugs, if you find it to be tooo chatty, simply ignore it in your IRC client.
