&lt;wikieditor-wikitext-tab&gt; is apearing instead of translation text.
the $lt; isnt also interpreted because the space is missing.

If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please read https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and add a more useful description to this report by providing good steps how to reproduce this (URL and click by click to see this).

I happened to notice this bug on a fresh MediaWiki installation (1.19). I installed the extension following the description on http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:WikiEditor and I get the "errors" shown in the screenshots. The translated messages do not appear (neither in the preferences view nor in the edit mode). Changing the language does not solve the problem. Changing the file encoding (WikiEditor.i18n.php is the only file encoded as UTF-8) does not solve the problem either.
