As can be observed in the export of https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/pywikipedia/10700, the codeMap is not applied. http://hexm.de/nu shows that "nb" is exported to "nb", where it should have been exported to "no" per:

    codeMap:
      nb: "no"
      zh-hans: zh

Another example of the unexpected behaviour is zh-hans, which should have been exported to "zh", instead of "zh-hans" itself.
