Description Jon 2012-12-05 00:35:30 UTC
The table module swallows cleanup templates:
e.g. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gda%C5%84sk#

It also swallows up images within tables making the photo upload module think and article has no photos

The table module should possible be triggered after these modules or do additional checks before running.
Comment 1 Jon 2012-12-11 21:56:36 UTC
Disabled tables module for summary section in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/38169.

This prevents interference with existing modules meaning the cleanup template and photo uploads module are not broken by it (these both operate on the summary).

The problem is deletion of content from the DOM - this might be better solved by advising modules to not delete any content rather than any type of enforcing.

Regardless the original bug is gone so closing.
