Description James Forrester 2012-12-07 03:34:23 UTC
In https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/settings/projects it is possible to watch new changes, comments and submits, but not new patchsets. Though normally a new patchset gets a comment added by the committer, this is not always.

I imagine this would be an upstream bug, unless there's a configuration option? Spent a few minutes looking for sysadmin documentation of this area but was unable to verify one way or the other, sorry.
Comment 1 Chad H. 2012-12-07 11:43:49 UTC
Yeah, we'll need to file an issue upstream, there's no config for this.
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2013-03-08 10:22:05 UTC
https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=1311 sounds slightly similar but I might get lost in semantics.
Comment 3 Chad H. 2013-04-12 18:04:34 UTC
No, that issue is more like "global watchers" who get notified on *every* change.
Comment 4 Chad H. 2013-04-12 18:05:20 UTC
Actually, I didn't notice but I believe this is fixed now. I see an option for new patchsets as well.
Comment 5 James Forrester 2013-04-12 18:07:04 UTC
Indeed, fixed by upgrade to newer gerrit; thanks Chad!
