Description Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-12-11 20:46:20 UTC
The mw extensions jobs are apparently not cleaning their workspace. The -install ones get a snapshot of mediawiki/core.git which might add unwanted files (such as directories under /extensions/ ). Not cleaning the workspace mean we might have artifact of a previous faulty build which would break any subsequent builds :/

Isn't this covered by Zuul?
Comment 2 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2013-04-10 07:18:49 UTC
Nop the workspace is handled by Jenkins. Zuul simply triggers the job with a set of key=value parameters.

Will have to look at that bug eventually, but that is definitely a corner case.

Will review this bug again.

Related https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/72314/ which would make use of git clean to make sure the workspace is only containing tracked files.

That change is abandoned.

I'm unassigning Antoine due to the length of inactivity and abandoned change.

That is no more an issue / got fixed :-)
