Description Adam Cuerden 2012-12-18 21:39:00 UTC
I had selected "set licence for each manually" then briefly selected "not my own work when I went to the set of files, checking which licenses were under each. When I went back to "Own work", it still wanted "Not my own work" filled in, and refused to upload without.

Also, can there be an option either to bypass the checks, or edit the raw {{Information}} template, while still using the convenient multi-upload option? Often times with this, I find myself running into a limitation of the upload box, know I'll have to replace all the information pages the moment I upload, but can't get it to save the files without going through and filling everything out manually. [If you do allow people to do a bypass of the checks, it should probably put a speedy delete on the images, and warn you if you do not fix the information templates *NOW* they'll be deleted.]

Also, perhaps this should be a separate bug report, but...

I mistakenly used a restricted character (a colon, ":", for the record) in a filename. However, the only message I got was "Undesirable character in filename, please fix" (or something very similar). Could this either link to a list of undesirable characters, or name which undesirable character[s] is/are being used?

Cheers,

Adam

I tried to reproduce this again but failed, everything worked as desired.
Closing for now; please reopen if necessary with more info on version and maybe some screenshots.
