Description Riley Huntley 2012-12-24 06:39:29 UTC
Often when handling requests, I will often receive "The user account was not created, as we could not confirm its source. Ensure you have cookies enabled, reload this page and try again."

I have received this error on several computers.

That's interesting. That's the message 'nocookiesfornew' but it no longer seems to be used...

Thank you for filing these possible bugs. In the future, please upload screenshots and other attachments to Bugzilla (this bug tracker). There's an "add an attachment" link on every bug. http://puu.sh will likely not be around in a year or two, while Bugzilla will. :-)

Never mind. The message was recently changed to use session failure message instead of the specific one on the most recent mediawiki.

Back to this bug. This message will happen if your browser didn't submit cookies when attempting to create a new account, or some other type of session failure happened.

For the sake of my sanity, here is the screenshot Riley posted, uploaded properly.
