As it took me a while to understand the problem, trying to summarize: The deleted page Ꙗ that redirected to Я is still listed on "What links here" at http://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Служебная:Ссылки_сюда/Я_(кириллица)&hidetrans=1&hidelinks=1 And no pages link to Ꙗ, to rule out one idea.
