Sorry, I looked at some similar bugs to see if it can be done and didn't note anyone else bothering about this. But, yes, we did discuss it in relation to changing our main page design, which could use automatically switching content at local midnight, so we don't need a notice on it explaining that it will change at 2 a.m. I asked specifically about this here: http://lv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikipēdija:Kopienas_portāls#Laika_josla nobody minds, hope this is enough

I interpret "Tā kā GreenZeb iebilst, vienprātības nav." differently.

GreenZeb was being sarcastic, he made a nonsense rant in which he even called himself stupid and later confirmed that he was not being serious. What I took from the discussion was that either nobody else really cares (I did inquire about this few years ago and got zero reaction) and/or that most users simply find this question is thought to be ridiculous as answer is obvious (per GreenZeb, Biafra and some people feeling need to vote on having Beijing time zone instead I gather that I was right about the later) and I hoped it could be resolved more quickly than by having two week long vote - note that 15 other people, which about encompasses all active community voted in favor, mostly within two days since it came active.

Voting has been completed, the decision is to set project time zone to 'Europe/Riga'
