With issues like bug 43595, it would be very helpful to have something like test2.wikipedia for the wikibase repo and wikidata.org We'd be able to catch any such issue and, if needed, debug. We could do initial deployment there, same time as test2 wiki, and assuming no problems, then to wikidata.org say on the first Wednesday of the deployment schedule. Setting up a new production wiki is a fairly simple thing to do and think it's well worth it.
Moving request to "Testing Infrastructure"
If we can decide where it is to go, I can jfdi and get this finished
can it be test.wikidata.org? we would need apache config updated to handle it. It seems like test.wikipedia.org is not the best for this, so it would be a new test wiki. (should be easy to setup)
if test.wikidata.org is easy, sure. otherwise go for test3.wikipedia.org -- or anything :)
Additional comment: if it can't be test.wikidata.org then anything OTHER THAN *.wikipedia.org or *.wikimedia.org. This is so we can also use this test wiki to test SUL across domains.
Blocked by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/65443/ And by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/65463/, sort of... We should duplicate this for test.wikidata too
